Iran's reaction to Israel

The Iranian military and government would like to clarify its position on
the possible Zionist incursion into its airspace. The Iranian Air Force
detected from its monitoring facilities that yesterday around 15:00 there
was an incursion into sovereign Iranian airspace by six non-commercial
aircraft. At the same time, our monitors intercepted the following radio
transmission, here translated from Hebrew:

“…scarlet Sabbath 1, break formation and resume heading to temple, I
repeat, break formation.”
“Why are we breaking?”
“Orders are to break, I repeat break formation now.”
“What about munitions, we’ll have to jettison.”
“Don’t talk over radio, take heading----“ [The transmission becomes
scrambled at this point]

We believe that this is the result of a Zionist mission to attack certain
key civil installations of the Iranian government. Although we recognize
that no attack did occur, we have taken appropriate actions within our
borders in order to intercept any future incursion and will not accept the
violation of our sovereign airspace.

News from the US NSC

"The US NSC is unhappy with and disappointed by the
Turkish declaration of war upon the Peshmerga. The region is highly unstable
and we feel that, given the progress towards a peaceful solution of this
conflict, this declaration is irresponsible and works counter to both the
Turkish and Iraqi interests. The US Ambassadors to the Iraqi Cabinet and the
UN Security Council are working tirelessly to resolve this question under
the direction of the National Security Council."

Press Release

Iran strongly refutes the recent allegation by Israel about manipulating world opinion. The Zionist oppressors have a long history of manipulating circumstances to their own benefit, and Iran calls for an international impartial committee to be formed to prove their lies and misinformation. Iran would urge the Zionist occupier to act in an appropriate manner for international security, and not hide behind smoke and mirrors, as they have previously done so.

The Iranian govt. through its ministry of defence would like to announce that it has successfully tested a new missile with the capacity to reach Europe and other occupying forces within our region called Shahab 5 through testing in the gulf. Iran would like to reiterate its desire for a peaceful and stable ME. This test is to counter balance the outrageous actions that have been undertaken by belligerent nations. These tests were conducted by the revolutionary guard, who serve as the legitimate protecting force of the values of the Iranian people and the state.

BREAKING NEWS

Intelligence Agencies confirm:
Recent Nuclear Development in Iran is supported by Russia who would like to increase its regional influence. Turkey and Iran and Shia militia in Iraq have been reported to work together to overthrow the Sunnis government power in Iraq.

Anonymous Report

US forces moving into Southern Iraq have been detaining large numbers of Iraqi citizens protesting peacefully against the reoccupation. Protests have been dispersed by force of arms, and many protesters have been beaten and 23 have been shot.
An entire quarter in Basra is in flames due to a violent US pacification strategy, supported by the Iraqi executive.
In response to these events, the Mahdi Army and other insurgent groups have resumed the fight against the US, attacking US troops and interests all over the country.

Press Statement by Israeli GA delegate to all committees

The Israeli government has established an independent and fully objective commission which has been investigating the recent accusations of the Iranian authorities. This commission has found clear and irrefutable evidence that no military airplanes have crossed the Iranian border.
Once again it was proved that Iran is trying to manipulate the world opinion. And turn all states against democratic and independent state of Israel. We urge Iran to stop manipulating the international opinion in this way.

Statement by Iran

Iran strongly objects to the unfounded allegations made in a recent press statement by the US. Iran rejects that the Revolutionary Guard are a terrorist organisation, and denies involvement in destabilising the South Iraq region. Our only involvement in South Iraq is a peaceful one, rebuilding the damage caused by the Western occupiers. The US has consistently rejected international calls for withdrawal, and whilst the UK has rightfully withdrawn its troops from this illegal invasion, the US has stepped up its troop numbers in a previously safe region! Any instability in the region from now on can only be directly attributed to the American increased presence, and Iran strongly condemns this reckless action.

Any violation of Iranian National Waters in the straights of Hamuz will have appropriate action taken against it. Iran reiterates its desire to coexist peacefully with the international community, and urges the international community to show restraint before sanctions are imposed upon innocent nations. We repeat our revulsion of the recent Zionist invasion, and hope that the Security Council takes strong actions against such an aggressive move.

Iran also condemns the use of biological weapons in the recent attack. Iran has always been opposed to the use of these weapons.

To all UN member states

Press Release from the OFFICE OF THE FOREIGN MINISTRY OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY

Germany Responds to Turkish Request

Germany has spoken with fellow EU member states, and has decided against any form of military intervention in the Turkish region. France and Germany strongly believe that the situation should be relieved by peaceful dialogue.

Intelligence Report

Our field officers have told us some minutes ago that the Chief of the Revolutionary Guard may has been highly involved in the planning, financing and support of the latest explosion in Baghdad. As far as we know at the moment he has definitely given the order for this attack.

Turkey wants...

Turkey believes that the powder contained in the bomb can be identified as biological weapon. Furthermore Turkey is convinced that the PKK is to blame for this atrocious action and would like to request help from the US, the EU and NATO or the UN in this matter. The Turkish government turns in particular to Germany in search for ABC tanks.

As a responds to this statement by the Turkish government there have been mass demonstrations in the German capital city by the Turkish minority population. Similar actions have happened on a smaller scale all over Europe.

Update from the GA

Amendment to UN Draft Resolution Failed

New York -
An amendment proposed by China to a draft resolution on the situation going in the Middle East currently being debated in the UN General Assembly has failed.
The original draft resolution proposed a regional peace conference between Iran, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, the US and the EU with the UN Secretary-General mediating the discussion in order to resolve existing regional tensions.
China proposed to add permanent Security Council members to the peace conference. This proposal received support from Russia. However, the amendment was voted against by majority. In speaking against the amendment, the Iranian delegate noted that the current crisis was caused by countries outside the region. He further noted that by bringing in more countries outside the region to the peace talk would only reinforce the status quo.

Press statement from Iran

We support the people of the United States in their recent demonstrations for the withdrawal of American troops from Iraq. They have proven nothing but a destabilizing influence in the region, and if the government does not heed the words of their people, then they are ignoring the values of democracy they are so keen to spread. The people of the world, including the countries involved of Iraq and US, are clearly in support of these withdrawals, and if the governments refuse to listen to their protest, then they are clearly unfit for rule, and should be immediately disbanded.

Update Iraq vs. Turkey

The Turkish troops have continued their attack in Northern Iraq despite
the press release issued by the Iraqi Council of Ministers which contained
implicit threats of war. The Turks have attacked a village in Kurdistan,
killing scores of civilians. The Kurdish Regional Government, disappointed
by the lack of action by the central Iraqi government in the past, has
decided to take matters into their own hands. The Pershmerga have been
mobilised and are now in combat against the Turks.v

Information to our troops

Deploy the 25th Infantry to Southern Iraq
The 4th Airborne Brigade Combat team shall be deployed immediately to Basra and will set up the HQ in Basra itself
The 1st Brigade Combat Team shall be deployed to the region, centred on Basra, as a tactical reserve
The 2nd Brigade Combat Team shall be deployed to protect the port of Basra
The 3rd Brigade Combat Team shall be deployed and ordered to engage in patrols in order to restore security in the region

Once the 1st, 2nd and 3rd have arrived, the 4th will return to base in Basra and join the 1st as the tactical reserve

Domestic reactions

Following the attack on the American Base in Iraq, an emergency meeting of the Congress has been called. The Republican minority leader has refused to give his “full support” to the US President, while the Democratic majority in Congress is increasing its pressure for immediate action by the President and Chief of the Joint Chiefs for increased security of US troops. There have also been calls for the resignation of the Chief of Joint Chiefs following his perceived complete incompetence to handle the situation.

Separately, there have been widespread mass demonstrations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington DC on a scale not witnessed since Vietnam, calling for the immediate withdrawal of US forces from Iraq. Protestors have been increasingly disorganized and violent.
Operation Freedom’s Guardian has been approved by the US President and a direct go ahead has taken place.

Press Statement from Libya

Libya would like to express ist sadness towards the assassination attempt and believes that it is the direct result of the US interests in the Middle East.

French Press Statement:

The Republic of France and the EU are not prepared to pursue any form of military action against Iran at this stage. I would like to make it very clear that should ay state invade Iran in the near future, France will have no part as it would result in another Iraq. France cannot ethically become military involved as we believe that diplomatic means should continue being pursued prior to any talk of military action Sanctions needed to continue happening as consequential events to Iran not complying with the IAEA and the UN Security Council France would like to see Germany, Russia USA, UK China and with the support of the High Representative of the EU, to pressure Iran into being more transparent about its nuclear programme. Furthermore France believes that the aggressive language which the US president used in his press statement is counterproductive to the goals which the GA is trying to achieve.

Explosion in Bagdad

At least two hundred fifty have been confirmed dead in the explosion so far. There has been no comment from the White House, but the National Security Council was already meeting, we are told, to discuss the developing situation between the United States and Iran.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. We will bring updates to this developing story as we learn them.

-----
Camp War Horse, Baghdad – There has been a car bombing on an American military base in Iraq. Camp War Horse, just outside of Baghdad was attacked early this morning during shift change along the perimeter of the base.

Reports are still incredibly sketchy, but it has been announced that all military bases in Iraq are now on their highest alert, and all security patrols around cities, particularly Baghdad, have been recalled to defend the bases.

Anonymous leak

There has been an anonymous leak of sightings of an increase in Iranian troop levels in Shahr-e-Kord (Western Iran).

Turkey Responding to Car Bomb in Military Terms

Following the devastating car explosion killing at least 200 people in the centre of Antalya earlier today, the Turkish government has decided to reinforce its forces in the north of Iraq to counter the PKK. Unidentified sources speak of a massive upgrade of the Turkish troops (more than 5000 additional troops)

In the meantime, the EU has condemned this atrocious attack as it emerged that several European citizens, especially from the United Kingdom and Germany, had been killed.

Israeli planes recalled

Following a direct telephone conversation between the US President and the Israeli Prime Minister, Israel was persuaded to recall its planes. However our intelligence agencies have reported that it might be possible that Iranian radar has picked up the planes. We are putting all troops in the gulf on the highest alert level.

Eexplosion in Turkey

Reuters, Ankara

Reports that a car bomb has exploded in a popular market area in centre of Antalya occurred some minutes ago. The number of casualties remains so far unknown but there are reports of Turkish as well as foreign national fatalities and injuries. An unconfirmed source has reported that white powder and various liquids were blown into the air. Experts have been called in to determine the nature of these substances.
The Turkish government responded by blaming the Kurdish Separatist Group PKK for this atrocious attack. Prime Minister Erdogan promised an immediate response and called for more responsibility by the Iraqi government to protect its neighbour states from terrorists.

Intelligence Report

Following the rejection of the ultimatum to Iran by the Israeli Prime Minister to disable all nuclear facilities, he has now given the go ahead to attack Iranian nuclear facilities. US radar stations and intelligence agents within Israel, have reported and confirmed that the Israeli Air force has armed and started air craft and bombers. They are suspected to be armed with high tech bunker busting bombs, with the anticipated destinations and targets being Iranian nuclear facilities, especially uranium enrichment facilities. Our intelligence agencies are working at maximum capacity to decipher Israeli communications to provide more accurate information on Israeli intentions and targets.

The USNSC has the possibility to call the Israeli PM and try to pressure him into recalling the bombers within the next 10-15mins. A quick and responsible decision is needed to prevent the total escalation of war.

Irans Respons to Israel

Response:
In response to Israel, we as the Islamic Republic of Iran has already been searched and, as confirmed by the National Intelligence Report, Iran is not producing nor pursuing any nuclear weapons capacity. Our nuclear program is strictly civil. Furthermore, we do not accept paternal remarks from any state that has, on numerous occasions, violated international law, disrespected international resolution and is not a member of the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty.

Iran does not sponsor any terrorist organizations nor have any connection with them. We are committed to regional stability and pursuit of peace and respect the sovereign entities of the Middle East.

From Israel to Iran and all other nations

To Iran:
We, the State of Israel demands, that Iran immediately stops all enrichment processes of uranium and allow the IAEA to enter Iran to ensure that this is followed through. The State of Israel is willing to offer Iran technological help and support for the development of alternative energy sources. This however, will not happen unless Iran totally stops enrichment mentioned above.
Furthermore, Israel demands to Iran immediately stops all sponsoring of terrorist organisations, such as Hamas, Hezbollah and all other Al Qaeda related sub-groups and strongly distances itself from any such organization.
We are awaiting the immediate responds from the Iranian authorities.

News story from the UNSC

The five permanent member states are said to be about to issue a statement regarding the recent attempt of assassination in Iraq. The permanent member states are about to hold a live press conference with the company of the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
